    Or you could pour the batter on a cookie sheet, bake it, and you have one giant pancake. Best of all it still has both pan and cakiness when done. Add butter and syrup to the mix, and then you’ve got something.

    I don’t care for pancakes. Corn syrup masquerading as syrup is just too sweet for me – and the pancakes have no actual taste.

    I might like them (a bit) better with actual maple syrup, but eggs and toast (and bacon or sausage) are far superior – in taste and in nutritional value.
