I believe I will simply have to take the word of those who have tried it.

I highlighted “Alan King’s routine “Survived by his wife.”” and my cute little phone helpfully asked if I wanted to do a web search. Since it was so polite, I could not turn it down and it took me to the YouTube you were referencing. (I love Google.) I also enjoyed the entire thing and I thank you as well.

I took my mother a few weeks ago out to eat. (I take her most Saturdays and other places during the week.)

We were both sitting and eating. I was looking at something on this phone. The fellow at the next table over took it upon himself to tell me I should put my phone away and pay her more attention. I explained that she was deaf so anything I said would be useless and require unpleasant yelling. He didn’t understand. He was secure on his Moral High Ground and not listening.

I knew my mother was enjoying being with me and the meal that she was eating. I wish she could hear. I wish she wore her hearing aid. I will not force my mother to do anything she does not want to do. I love and respect her too much for that.

Every time I take her to or from Chen’s in Atmore Alabama. I try to take a different route so she can see how the world has changed in the last 94 years. She keeps wondering if she’s ever been that way before even if we did that portion just last Saturday.

Something other than a long happy life lived together to its fullest?

Or mixed in their favorite food for a big gathering? And the attendees only told a week or so later.

I pictured it simply being together and enjoying each other’s company.

Obituaries seldom include the sometimes disturbing details of how a person died.

One time my daughter-in-law left my granddaughter in my hands although with dome some definite reservations. When Amanda came and got her she noticed Lexie slept far longer than she had ever slept before. She wondered what I had done that made her sleep so soundly. I explained I had just read her the obituaries. She was first horrified until I explained the obituaries told us that someone had lived and that they had people who cared for them and would miss them and the good that they had done in life and I considered it quite pleasant and Lexi considered it quite ooooh maybe boring? Regardless she slept over I think over 10 hours.

Wait. Are you trying to tell me there are no humans who have tails, who evolved from monkeys? And no carnivorous triceratops? I am EXTREMELY disappointed.

Oh well, at least I’m certain there’s still a Lost Crusade City and some lost Roman empire folks so there’s that anyhoo.

Human physicians are ahead NOW. You can only improve a human so much, though.

Mechanisms and systems can be improved endlessly. Picture a million lap race with humans ahead on lap 200. Does this mean humans will remain in the lead?
